Efficient cooling of the blade holder and microtome chuck, and excellent microtome rigidity allow for a variety of tissues, from lymph node through mammary gland, to be sectioned in an ideal temperature range.

Consideration for the working environment

The Polar provides an optional draft generator* to minimize the spread of contaminated air to outside the chamber during sectioning, in addition to the ozone treatment function* and vacuum debris removal system.
